Father Dominic Lenk PDF Print E-mail

Father Dominic is a skilled, patient, and enthusiastic teacher.  After working as the Director of the Senior Citizen Nutrition and Activity Center in his hometown of Troy, he started his teaching career as a Computer Instructor at Watterson College where he would eventually be honored as a Professor Emeritus. It was at this time that he brought his teaching skills to the abbey, its parish, and its school.

In addition to teaching, Father Dominic works in administration as the Abbot's Secretary, where he helps with the day-to-day running of the monastery and administers the abbey’s finances.  Fr. Dominic’s gifts as a spiritual leader and administrator inspired the Abbot President of the English Benedictine Congregation to select him as part of a revitalization team for Saint Anselm’s Abbey, our sister house in Washington, DC., where he served as a joint member of both communities through 2009.

After his time of service at Saint Anselm's Abbey, Father Dominic returned to Saint Louis and resumed his responsibilities as teacher as well as assistant to the Abbot
